Is PawfectNotes free?
Yes. PawfectNotes has a free plan that includes 50 sessions per month, every month. It never expires and does not require a credit card. It is a permanent free tier, not a trial.
How much does PawfectNotes cost?
PawfectNotes is free for 50 sessions per month. StarterNotes costs $29 per veterinarian per month billed annually ($39 billed monthly) and includes 100 sessions per month. UnlimitedNotes costs $59 per veterinarian per month billed annually ($69 billed monthly) with unlimited sessions. A whole clinic can be covered instead for a flat $119 per month billed annually, or $149 billed monthly, which includes every veterinarian in the practice, unlimited notes and unlimited support staff seats. Practices pay whichever of the two is cheaper.
Does the free plan use a lower-quality AI model?
No. PawfectNotes uses the same top-tier model on every plan, including the free plan. The free plan limits how many sessions you get each month, not the quality of the notes.
How many languages does PawfectNotes support?
PawfectNotes supports 41 languages, and writes the finished note in 38 of them, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi and Filipino. Afrikaans, Bengali and Punjabi are speech-only: we follow the consult, but the note comes back in another supported language.
Can PawfectNotes handle a bilingual appointment?
Yes. PawfectNotes handles appointments where the conversation switches between two or three languages in a single recording, using any combination of its 38 supported languages.
Does PawfectNotes write notes in languages other than English?
Yes. PawfectNotes writes the finished medical record in the language of the appointment, in all 38 supported languages. It does not transcribe in one language and output the note in English.
Which practice management systems does PawfectNotes integrate with?
PawfectNotes integrates with 19 veterinary practice management systems. Seven of them — ezyVet, Covetrus Pulse, VETport, NaVetor, VetSpire, Shepherd and DaySmart — are automatic: the browser extension writes the note straight into the record. PawfectNotes also works with any other system by copy and paste, and there are setup guides for 51 of them.
Do technicians and support staff need their own paid seats?
No. Seats are counted per veterinarian. Technicians, CSRs, receptionists and practice managers get free, unlimited accounts on every plan, including the free plan. Support accounts do not generate notes of their own: they record, view and edit on behalf of a veterinarian, so a technician can start the consult recording or tidy a note before the veterinarian signs it. A five-veterinarian practice pays for five seats, not for its whole team.
Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
PawfectNotes does not use a time-limited trial. The free plan is permanent, so you can evaluate the product for as long as you like at 50 sessions per month before deciding to upgrade.
